Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-18

This extension is not affiliated with Pinterest or any related company.

1. Overview

Pinterest Board & Pin Downloader helps you download boards and pins you can already view on pinterest.com as ZIP or PDF files on your own device. It does not bypass Pinterest login or access controls for private content you cannot open.

2. Data on your device

Stored locally with browser extension storage:

Preferences related to packing and selection
Temporary pin selection / pick-mode state while you browse

These stay on the device unless you clear extension storage or uninstall.

3. Permissions

storage — preferences and pin selection on this device
tabs — detect the active Pinterest tab and communicate with on-page controls
downloads — save ZIP, PDF, and media files through the browser download manager
activeTab — run Select / ZIP / PDF actions on the Pinterest tab you open from the popup
Host access to pinterest.com and pinimg.com — read visible board/pin context and download media you can already open

The extension does not use <all_urls>.

4. Network / third parties

Media bytes are requested from Pinterest / pinimg hosts you already use in the browser.
In the current shipped configuration, the extension does not sync your pin selection or downloads to our servers for normal use.
There is no analytics SDK embedded for core download features in the current build.

5. What we do not collect

Pinterest passwords
Session cookies sent to our servers
Your pin media files on our servers
Sale of personal data for advertising
