Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Patreon Media Saver helps you save videos, audio, images, and attachments from Patreon posts you can already access while logged in. It does not bypass login, membership paywalls, or DRM. This extension is not affiliated with Patreon, Inc.

2. Data on your device

Stored locally with browser extension storage:

• Settings (filename template, concurrent downloads, on-page controls, history preference)
• Saved creators and scanned library metadata
• Download queue and history

This data stays in your browser profile unless you clear extension storage or uninstall.

3. Permissions

• storage / unlimitedStorage — settings, creators, library metadata, and download tasks
• downloads — save files through the browser download manager
• tabs — detect the active Patreon tab; open Downloads, options, and feedback links
• scripting — inject the Patreon content script to detect accessible media and optional on-page controls
• declarativeNetRequest — set Referer/Origin headers for Mux / Patreon stream segments you can already play
• offscreen — run HLS remux and large blob saves outside the service worker
• Host access to Patreon and Mux — detect and download media you can already open (no <all_urls>)

4. Network / third parties

Media bytes are requested from Patreon / CDN hosts you already use while logged in. Those requests follow those services’ own policies.

Optional feedback and uninstall surveys may open forms hosted by Tally. Responses you submit there are processed under Tally’s terms and privacy policy.

In the current shipped configuration, the extension does not sync your media library or download history to our servers for normal use.

5. What we do not collect

• Patreon passwords
• Session cookies sent to our servers
• Your media files on our servers
• Sale of personal data for advertising

Please never paste passwords, cookies, or session tokens into feedback forms.

6. Children

This product is not directed at children under 13. Use only if you meet the age required in your jurisdiction for this type of software.

7. Your choices

• Clear download history in the extension when available
• Revoke permissions or uninstall via chrome://extensions or Edge extensions settings
• Do not submit sensitive credentials in feedback forms

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; material changes will be reflected on the store listing when required.
